Peter Corrado,

President and CEO

Peter Corrado is Domcor’s founder and visionary leader. He brings sound business management principles and a strong foundation in security services to the company. After honing his security and investigative skills working at Austro-Asian Security, Peter delved into the financial planning and audit channels, which give him unique insight into managing costs for customers.

Peter has grown Domcor from a one-person business to a well respected company with global reach and more than 500 employees excelling in all aspects of training and the security industry. He continues to seek opportunities that allow DOMCOR to provide necessary, emerging and vital security and training services in the changing security landscape.

Peter’s commitment to the security industry includes his own professional development. He is a member of IHASS (International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety), CIBPA (Canadian Italian Business and Professional Association), IAPA (International Accident Prevention Association), OIPMAC (Ontario Institute of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada), CANASA (Canadian Alarm Association), ASIS, IACST (International Association for Counter-Terrorism and Security Professionals), and FPED VII (Impacting on Global War on Terror).

Patrick Corrado,

Chief Operating Officer

Patrick brings more than 15 years experience working as part of senior management within the security industry. As Chief Operating Officer, Patrick directs a diverse senior management team consisting of operational, administrative, technical, and financial advisor’s. He is responsible for operations, administration, marketing for Domcor.

Patrick is empowered to make key decisions regarding capital expenditures, hiring, professional developments, and training. He also presents proposals to potential customers regarding loss control management principles. He specialized in developing policies and site-specific orders for clients during closures and labour disputes.

Patrick has 4 years post secondary education in business management , augmented by related Industry Training such as Port Facility certification, training in workplace investigations, and memberships in the International Association for Healthcare Security and Safety, ASIS International, and CANASA. Patrick works directly with customers to ensure every one of their security needs are met.

Debbie Shea,

Vice President Aboriginal Relations / Compliance

With two decades of experience in management and administration, Debbie has developed her skills in the protective service industry with a particular emphasis on operations. She joined Domcor in 2000. She is trained in the management of aggressive behaviour, non-violent crisis prevention and intervention, risk management and due diligence. Debbie particularly enjoys working in this industry due to its unlimited potential for personal and professional growth. She values the respect that Domcor affords every employee, and the family feel at the various work sites. As VP Aboriginal Relations, Debbie can advise Domcor on current issues, trends, and opportunities to further its saturation of one of Canada’s fastest growing industries. With a personal passion for First Nation history and current day issues, Debbie’s role in Aboriginal affairs is a welcome addition to her duty portfolio; she is embracing the opportunities to work with and meet so many First Nations, Metis and Aboriginal groups across Canada.

A lifelong learner, Debbie holds a valid security license through the Ministry of the Attorney General and is completing certifications through IAHSS. She is a member of the Purchasing Management Association of Canada, Human Resource Management Association BC Chapter and the Association for Mineral Exploration British Columbia and the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business

Blair Sampson,

Vice President Business Development

Blair brings a wealth of experience in both training and marketing. As Vice President of business development, Blair’s work straddles the areas of marketing, sales, human resources, and operations. He has a degree from St. Mary’s University, with a major in marketing and a minor in business administration. Prior to joining Domcor, Blair worked as a sales rep and as a trainer. Since coming to DOMCOR, he has completed his CSO and Confined Space training. When not at the office or on-site, Blair spends his time playing and coaching hockey.

Shane Granger,

Director of Operations

Shane holds a variety of security licenses and certifications and is Domcor’s resident expert in security guard and incidence reporting software. He is certified as a Harassment and Violence in the Workplace advisor and investigator.

Shane came to Domcor after a successful military career, including work as a field engineer, training officer, operations manager and instructor for both the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering and the Canadian Forces Recruit and Leadership School. Shane left the military with the rank of Sergeant. He is married with two young children.

Karen Burger,

Controller

As controller, Karen is responsible for all financial reporting activities including the production of financial statements, development of the budget and cash flow, all forecasting and all daily financial activities. Karen earned her BSc from University of Waterloo and her CGA in 2009. She has more than 20 years experience in the accounting field, mostly in senior management positions. When Karen is not working, she enjoys outdoor activities such as geocaching, camping, fishing, and hiking.

Ian Marshall,

Training Division Manager

Ian is responsible for the training division of Domcor and related training activities such as customer service, course development, management and recruitment of instructors. He has over 20 years experience in management and consulting, in the fields of marketing, entrepreneur development and training. Ian has provided instruction and course development for several post secondary institutions including BCIT, Peter Thompson Centre for Venture Development (BCIT), Kwantlen Polytechinc University and Langara College Continuing Education. He completed a DBA in Business Administration in 2002. When Ian is not working he and enjoys walking and reading.
